FALSCH! Die Symptome des KTS (Kribbeln in den Fingern, Gefühlsverlust usw.) haben mit einer schlechten Durchblutung nichts zu tun, sie sind vielmehr mit einer Innervationsstörung (Kompression von Nerven) verbunden. Der Mittelarmnerv, der für die Beugung des Daumens, des Zeige- und Mittelfingers (neurologisch) zuständig ist, wird im Karpaltunnel, der sich im Handgelenk befindet, zusammengedrückt.
Das Karpaltunnelsyndrom (KTS) hängt mit einer Durchblutungsstörung zusammen.
GELEGENTLICH - Es gibt viele Ursachen für das KTS, und Arthrose kann tatsächlich eine davon sein. Arthrose im Handgelenk hängt oft mit vorhergehenden Traumata (Fraktur) zusammen. Sie kann zu einem Knochenauswuchs führen, die den Karpaltunnel verengen. Das in diesem Kanal vorhandene Volumen nimmt ab und der Mittelarmnerv wird zusammengedrückt.
